For the past few days now, I have been wanting to write something about our most beloved Comedy King, Dolphy.  I just couldn't gather my thoughts of what I really wanted to convey, afraid that my words might not do proper justice for what really a person he was.  For sure, he was the kindest being that everyone knows.  Today, I stumbled upon an article   from The Philippine Star which culled quotes from Dolphy from their many interviews.  

• "Zsa Zsa Padilla is the last woman in my life."(Feb. 2, 1997)

• On running for a public office: "Madaling tumakbo. Eh, paano kung manalo?" (Feb. 2, 1997) "I'm really afraid of running, People would ask me, 'Why are you afraid when you are sure to win?' And I would tell them, 'That's what I'm afraid of, ang manalo." (June 11, 2000)

• "I was circumcized by a barber at the bathroom under our house. When I saw blood, I swallowed the guava leaves I was chewing which was used to cover the wound." (July 10, 2008)
