Among the big budget sequels and high-profile projects, Screen Gems has the task of really pushing their upcoming fifth installment in the Resident Evil franchise this week during Comic-Con. Though Milla Jovovich has been a driving force behind the film's marketing so far and the series has a dedicated number of fans already, it's what exactly they'll be doing among the competition at the large event that will certainly be interesting. Now, the studio has revealed an exclusive poster that can be seen on the floor of the convention center which features main character Alice taking the action to a new high.
The wildly successful film franchise adaptation that has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide to the popular video game series, "Resident Evil," returns in its highly anticipated fifth installment, "Re5ident Evil: Retribution" in state-of-the art 3D.
The Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race's last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex.
