VP of NRA Wayne LaPierre Accuses Obama's Use of the word ...

Referencing the inaugural address given by President Obama, Vice President of the NRA Wayne LaPierre spoke out against the parts in his speech that may have labeled gun owners as extremists, citing the use of the word Absolutism. “He’s more than willing to demonize his opponents, silence his critics, and slur the NRA. In the words of Senator Charles Schumer, ‘As an extremist fringe group.’” Said LaPierre to a crowd as he delivered his speech. The gun-ownership advocate group faces some opposition in the public and in the Democratic party, as leaders look for ways to stop the gun violence, while gun-owning advocates want to keep the government away from gun ownership.
